Share of voice (SOV) is a metric used in media planning and buying to determine how much a brand advertises in comparison to its competitors during a certain period.
SOV is calculated by dividing impressions by the total impressions on a particular site, it is typically shown as percentage. A higher SOV suggest a more powerful influence on the chosen site / platform.
