To run ads on secure (HTTPS) sites, your creatives must be HTTPS compatible. You can mark them as secure or not. Only secure creatives can access secure (HTTPS) inventory. Be careful not to label a creative as secure unless it's verified, or your ad may not display on certain sites.

Creative Types

Image & Video Creatives

Image and Video creatives uploaded via Drag & Drop or 'Select File' will automatically be hosted in an https-compatible environment and set as secure

HTML5 Creatives

HTML5-creatives uploaded and hosted on BidTheatre's servers may need to be manually set as secure. For a HTML5 creative to be secure, each of the assets hosted in the creative need to be secure

Third Party Tags

Third party tags may need to be manually set as secure. Please consult your third party vendor about https compatibility of tags.

Native Ads

Native ads need to be manually set as secure

Note: All types of creatives created via the 'New ad' button must be manually set as secure.

Check if a creative is marked as secure or not

In Ad creatives - Check the 'Secure' column to see whether the campaign's ads are marked as secure or not:

If this column is not visible in your view, click the gear icon and check the box for 'Secure' to add it to the interface:

Manually set a creative as secure

If you need to manually set one or more creatives as 'Secure,' you can do so by first selecting all the relevant ads → Click the 'Actions' button → Bulk edit → Select 'Secure' and save:

Note: If this change occurs in an active campaign where the ads have already been sent for audit, the ads must be submitted for a new audit request. To request a new ad audit, you can select all the relevant ads → Click the 'Actions' button → Request new ad audits:
