Using software to prevent ads from showing is getting increasingly common.

Adblocking generally occurs by a browser plugin that identifies and blocks any browser calls to a known blacklist of ad technology vendors. To users of BidTheatre, this means that:

  • bid requests and subsequent bids will not occur for impressions that are adblocked

  • calls to segment, cookie group and conversion trackers may be blocked
